Ballet Magnificat Presents The Hiding Place
America’s longest-running Christian ballet company, will present The Hiding Place, at our church on Tuesday, October 25. The Hiding Place depicts the true story of Corrie Ten Boom, a Christian Holocaust survivor who was imprisoned for hiding Jews in her home during the Nazi Occupation of Holland. The dramatic performance displays how her faith led her through imprisonment in the Concentration Camp of Ravensbruck. “Why tell fairy tales when you can bring to the stage such an alluring story of courage and faith that will challenge us to the core?” said Jiri Voborsky, Choreographer and Artistic Director of Ballet Magnificat! Omega Company. The Hiding Place was first performed in 2006, and has since been performed on over five continents, for countless audience members. The ballet has been performed for Holocaust survivors, former Nazis, and relatives of Corrie Ten Boom.
Tickets/donations may be purchased online at our Giving page or through the church office.
